HTML PRAGRAPH:
As discussed earlier, HTML will treat all text as one paragraph unless paragraph markers are added around each physical paragraph. Paragraph markers will instruct the viewer to produce one blank line before displaying the text of the next paragraph.
The following codes are used for paragraph markers:
- <p>
- this marker should be typed at the beginning of every paragraph
- </p>
- this marker should be typed at the end of every paragraph
However, on some occasions, for example in tables, a paragraph marker is too crude, producing too much “white” space between the lines. To this end a line break marker (<br>)should be used. This instructs the viewer to place the following text on to the next line.
- <p> and </p>
- Should appear around normal paragraphs.
- <br />
- Should appear at the end of lines that should be broken.
HTML DISPLAY:
You cannot be sure how HTML will be displayed.Large or small screens, and resized windows will create different results. With HTML, you cannot change the output by adding extra spaces or extra lines in your HTML code.
The browser will remove any extra spaces and extra lines when the page is displayed:
